Salawat dan Salam
Ketika pertama kali dimaklumkan oleh tuan yang menjemput untuk majlis ini, saya terdiam seketika. Terfikir mahu main yang bagaimana?

"Jangan risau, ini untuk mengiring budak-budak bersilat, sempena majlis Maulidur Rasul oleh surau di tempat kami. Jadi, ini aktiviti anak-anak di sekitar situ."

Tujuan : Mengiringi persembahan silat
Anjuran : AJK Surau An-Nur, Taman Kasih, Kajang
Saya mengangguk.
Bila tiba hari yang dijanjikan, 25hb Feb, 2012, kami hadir sedikit lambat. Namun majlis masih belum dimulakan. Lega rasanya. Setibanya di sana, kami disambut oleh Sdr Mazhar yang menjemput kami bergendang. Kami berbual-bual dan pekena nasi lemak dahulu. Kemudian baharulah kami bergendang.
Selesai tugas kami, giliran adik-adik dari Ribat (tidak ingat dari mana), mendendangkan alunan selawat, burdah dan sebagainya. Untuk seketika, kami duduk di dalam surau dan mahu menikmati pula persembahan mereka yang jarang kami temui.
Tidak lama kemudian kami beransur. Cuma, yang menariknya majlis ini adalah kami ditempatkan di dalam sisi bangunan surau untuk bergendang. Apabila melihatkan ini, saya mula teringat cerita seorang rakan yang pernah melawat Pakistan. Cerita beliau, di masjid sana, alunan zikir, selawat, nasyid diiringi oleh paluan gendang (seakan rebana, atau mungkin gendang muka sebelah) tanpa dilarang oleh pihak masjid.
Mungkin di sini belum mencapai tahap yang sebegitu. Wuallahua'lam.

Let me tell you the history about SAMNAK SAMBODHI, TAMAN DESA JAYA, KEPONG, KUALA LUMPUR. Last time we were members of the temple but now we are very far apart because now the committee members are very proud of the activities or duties of the temple.
On the other hand, the current president of the temple is YIP KUM FOOK and son YIP JIUN HANN. His son always said to the devotees: THIS TEMPLE IS MY FATHER'S TEMPLE. Or is it my father's property…we are silent because We know this temple very well where it came from...
Now the members of the temple committees are their only group. Others cannot join as members and use Myanmar monks only for service and blessing. Only Myanmar monks are very smart (All monks from Myanmar have the rank of DR or PH. D), but the disciples(devotees) here are very confused because the disciples here have never heard of that name(titles).
